Today we did what all women need to do after a rough week: a little RETAIL THERAPY.
On our way walking around the city we always find these cute shops, but we're always on our way somewhere so we never get to stop inside! So today we tried to find those places.
First, we met at the program office to start planning our spring break. FAIL. Too many chiefs and not enough indians, so that will have to wait for another day. However, I did walk to the office and found it all on my own, very easy!
Then we went to get our usual afternoon snack: pastries and cafe con leche in a cute little cafe around the corner. After we were done at the "pasteleria" we wandered around and found a huge "walking only" street with super cute clothing stores. We shopped from day until about 8 o'clock at night. It was just what we all needed!
I live for the weekends here, it's the time when I get to see all of my friends again and we all get to adventure together.
Tomorrow we are going to Sitges, a town about an hour away from Barcelona, because they are having a HUGE carnival. I guess all of Spain is having carnivals, for what reason? I have no idea, but apparently Sitges is the biggest one and there's a bus from Barcelona that will take us there for cheap, so that's our destination.
